To order one of our video slideshow packages, simply follow our easy ordering process. If you have slideshow needs that don't quite fit our package offerings or if you have questions about ordering, simply contact us.Step 1: Preliminaries
There are a few basic questions you may want to think about before you contact us to create a video slideshow for you.
- About how long do you want your video to be? The average time for a picture to be displayed is 5 seconds so if you have about 30 - 35 pictures your slideshow would last about 3 minutes.
- What is the mood of your video to be? Funny, sentimental, both? Choosing appropriate music for the mood you want to have is important.
- Carefully select photographs that tell your story. Close-ups of the subject are better than distance shots.
- Will you want title slides for the beginning and end or at the beginning of any sections you have? Will captions be necessary to help those watching the video understand the photos?

Step 3: Organize Your Resources
- Gather all of your components:
- Decide how you want your video slideshow structured. Write down the order of the pictures (corresponding to the number on the back of the picture) with a brief description. This helps insure that we will have them in the correct order. (We suggest using a pencil to write lightly on the back of the picture so it doesn’t show through.)
- Arrange pictures into the order and sections you want them to appear. A storyboard template to help you organize your slideshow is available from our website. Use a storyboard template to help us know what you would like your show to look like.
- Select the music you want with each section. (It is helpful to remember that for a 5 minute song you will need about 36 photographs showing at 5 seconds each. If you are short on photographs for a song adjustments will be made to the length of the photographs you have available.) You can provide the music on a CD or if we purchase the music the cost, approximately $1.00 per song, will add additional cost to your total.
